Owner Susan learned to cook from her father in Shanghai, and King Chuan carries those traditions into its San Carlos kitchen. Dishes are prepared from scratch and steamed to preserve natural flavors, and the restaurant states that it never uses MSG. Reservations, takeout, delivery and catering are available.
