A fresh San Carlos breakfast and brunch spot blending Mexican-American favorites — chilaquiles, omelettes, benedicts, breakfast burritos, and bionico
Casa Mia at 677 Laurel Street in San Carlos is the newest location from a growing Bay Area breakfast and brunch concept with existing restaurants in San Jose and Mountain View. The brand combines traditional American breakfast dishes with Mexican-inspired preparations in a warm, casual setting focused on fresh ingredients and generous portions. The menu covers a wide range of morning favorites: omelettes including a spicy jalapeño build and a crab omelette, classic egg plates, house specials, chilaquiles in house-made salsas, eggs Benedict, breakfast burritos, and sweet plates including French toast and pancakes. The light menu features a bionico — a Mexican fruit salad with sweet cream, granola, shredded coconut, raisins, and honey — alongside fruit bowls and oatmeal. Heartier options include a breakfast burger with a beef and chorizo patty, crispy hash brown, bacon, and two eggs, as well as a club sandwich on toasted sourdough. A kids menu, catering program, and private event booking are all available. Drinks include Mexican hot chocolate, lattes, and mimosas.
